New York High School Softball - St. Lawrence Central bounces Norwood-Norfolk
May 4, 2024: Norwood, NY 13668 St. Lawrence Central Larries (Brasher Falls, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Norwood-Norfolk Flyers (Norwood, NY), 16-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Larries now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brushton-Moira for a Section 10 East challenge on Tuesday, May 7. St. Lawrence Central will face a Panthers squad coming off a 20-5 league loss to Madrid-Waddington (Madrid, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Norwood-Norfolk falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Flyers host Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY) to face the Shamrocks in a Section 10 Central challenge on Monday, May 6. The Shamrocks enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Salmon River won 12-11 in their recent league challenge against Massena (Massena, NY)
