Florida High School Basketball - Lake Weir falls to Wildwood

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wildwood Wildcats basketball team scored a good 63-48 triumph over the Lake Weir Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the The Villages Charter Buffalo (The Villages, FL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 29. Wildwood will attempt to move on its 9-13 season record. The Buffalo enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 63-58 non-league win over South Sumter (Bushnell, FL).

With the defeat, Lake Weir moves to 15-5 on the year. The Hurricanes host Meadowbrook Academy (Ocala, FL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, January 31. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 16-7. Meadowbrook Academy lost 71-40 in their recent non-league match against Seacoast Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL)
