Pennsylvania High School Football - Slippery Rock crushed by Sharon

In Friday's league game, the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) football team smashed the visiting Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA), by a final score of 45-7.

The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Farrell (Farrell, PA). The Steelers come into the District 10 Region 3 game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Farrell overwhelmed Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA), 62-6, in a league game.

The Rockets now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilmington for a District 10 Region 3 game on Friday, October 13. Slippery Rock will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 49-42 non-league win over General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-4.
