The Rio Rancho Rams thwarted the host Valley Vikings football team by a count of 26-18 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams host Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 9. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Atrisco Heritage Academy lost 37-0 in their recent non-league bout against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
