California High School Basketball - Los Angeles CES crushes Mary Star of the Sea
January 13, 2024: San Pedro, CA 90731 Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), 71-6 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Los Angeles CES upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Unicorns travel to Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Gondoliers in a Western bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Gondoliers come into the test with a record of 4-9. Venice lost 82-11 in their recent league test against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA)
The Stars now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Amat for a Camino Real test on Tuesday, January 16. Mary Star of the Sea will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 63-41 non-league win over Knight (Palmdale, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 9-9.
