Pennsylvania High School Football - Danville defeats Shamokin Area
October 21, 2011: Danville, PA 17821 In Friday's league match, the host Danville Ironmen football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Shamokin Area Indians.
In their next game, the Ironmen clash with the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 28. Danville will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 40-34 league loss to Hughesville (Hughesville, PA).
The Indians (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves enter the Heartland I test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Shikellamy was defeated by Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA), 35-14, in a non-league test.
