October 2, 2023: Brattleboro, VT 05301 Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) in a SVL-A challenge, on Friday, October 6. Brattleboro will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT).
The Wasps now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rutland for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Woodstock will confront a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Montpelier (Montpelier, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.
