North Carolina High School Basketball - Independence holds off Olympic
November 18, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28227 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), saw Independence's basketball squad hold off Olympic by a tally of 22-18.
With the victory, Independence improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Sabres in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 28. The Sabres come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. South Mecklenburg won 45-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Providence (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Olympic will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
