Kentucky High School Basketball - McLean County fells Evansville Day
December 9, 2023: Calhoun, KY 42327 McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Evansville Day Eagles (Evansville, IN), 63-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McLean County improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Apollo (Owensboro, KY) to confront the Eagles in a District 9 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Apollo won 44-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion County (Lebanon, KY)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Evansville Day will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
