The Pocatello Thunder basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Sky View Bobcats to 59 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Century for a 4A South East Idaho contest on Thursday, January 4. Pocatello will meet a Diamondbacks team coming off a 71-68 non-league win over Burley (Burley, ID). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 4-7.

The Bobcats (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bear River (Garland, UT). The Bears enter the 4A Region 11 contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Bear River was outscored by Weber (Pleasant View, UT), 71-56, in a non-league contest.
