Connecticut High School Basketball - Masuk holds off Brookfield
February 18, 2022: Brookfield, CT 06804 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) and the host Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT), saw Masuk's basketball squad hold off Brookfield by a tally of 56-54.
With the victory, Masuk improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bethel (Bethel, CT) to confront the Wildcats in a Southwest challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Bethel won 64-41 in their recent league challenge against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Brookfield will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 57-52 league loss to Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT).
