Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) and the visiting North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), saw West Scranton's basketball squad hold off North Pocono by a count of 42-36.

With the victory, West Scranton upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Trojans play the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 22. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Meteors come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 69-24 league win over Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA).
