Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) and the host Waynesburg Central Raiders (Waynesburg, PA), saw Fort Cherry's basketball squad overcome Waynesburg Central by a tally of 66-48.

With the victory, Fort Cherry improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a WPIAL 2A 4 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
