Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 11-0 in a league test.

With the win, Wilmington upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 21. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 2-6. Illinois Lutheran lost 15-3 in their recent non-league test against Crossroads Christian (Big Rock, IL)

With the defeat, Herscher falls to 7-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL) to battle the Comets in a Illinois Central Eight test on Thursday, April 21.
