Missouri High School Basketball - Polo ripped by Osborn
January 8, 2009: Osborn, MO 64474 The Osborn Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Polo Panthers to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Nodaway for a Platte Valley contest on Friday, January 9. Osborn will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 54-29 non-league win over West Nodaway (Burlington Junction, MO). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-0.
The Panthers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lathrop (Lathrop, MO). The Mules enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Lathrop trounced Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO), 53-42, in a league contest.
