Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Fightin' Planets confront the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge, on Wednesday, September 22. Mars will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 7-3 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA).

The Lions now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chartiers Valley for a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge on Saturday, September 25.
