Texas High School Basketball - Liberty Christian nudges Dallas Thunder
January 10, 2023: Argyle, TX 76226 Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dallas Thunder (Dallas, TX), 49-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Liberty Christian upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Warriors host Midland Christian (Midland, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-17. Midland Christian lost 52-33 in their recent league bout against Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the clash with the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Dallas Thunder will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 48-33 league loss to Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX).
