In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Cox Mill Chargers basketball team scored a tight 46-45 triumph over the Hough Huskies.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 2. Cox Mill will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 48-27 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).

The Huskies (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, North Gaston edged Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 59-42, in a non-league battle.
