Washington High School Basketball - Kent-Meridian overwhelms Jefferson
December 7, 2019: Auburn, WA 98001 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA) and the host Jefferson Raiders (Auburn, WA), saw Kent-Meridian's basketball squad wallop Jefferson by a count of 87-46.
With the victory, Kent-Meridian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Auburn Mountainview (Auburn, WA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Auburn Mountainview won 51-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Beamer Titans (Federal Way, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound - Olympic challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 89-62 non-league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA).
