With the victory, Whitmer improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Bedford (Bedford, OH) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 8. The Bearcats come into the battle with a record of 1-6. Bedford lost 55-53 in their recent league battle against Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH)
The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Consortium College Prep (Detroit, MI). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Consortium College Prep prevailed over Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI), 62-58, in a non-league battle.
