Texas High School Basketball - La Vega holds off North Crowley

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) and the host North Crowley Panthers (Fort Worth, TX), saw La Vega's basketball squad hold off North Crowley by a tally of 50-43.

With the victory, La Vega improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Plano East (Plano, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Plano East lost 56-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Allen (Allen, TX)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. North Crowley will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
