New York High School Basketball - Nazareth knocked off by St. Joseph
January 19, 2024: Brooklyn, NY 11203 The St. Joseph Knights basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Nazareth Kingsmen to 59 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. St. Joseph will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-0.
The Kingsmen (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY). The Stanners enter the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Molloy was defeated by Holy Cross (Flushing, NY), 60-59, in a league contest.
