The Hough Huskies knocked off the host Mallard Creek Mavericks volleyball squad by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league contest.

Next up, the Huskies battle the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 8. Hough will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 16-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC).

With the loss, Mallard Creek drops to 13-5 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 8. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 13-6. Providence won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC)
