In Wednesday's league challenge, the Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA), by a final score of 5-4.

With the win, Somerset upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Richland (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Rams in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Friday, April 8. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Richland won 7-5 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA)
