January 16, 2024: Pinckneyville, IL 62274 Pinckneyville Panthers (Pinckneyville, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL), 92-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pinckneyville upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Herrin (Herrin, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Herrin won 55-35 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL)
Next up, the Vandals play the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Vandalia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Foxes come into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 55-35 non-league loss to Herrin (Herrin, IL).
