Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Trion will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pepperell (Lindale, GA).

The Tigers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Adairsville for a 3A Area 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Ringgold will face a Tigers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
