Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington nips Conard
January 13, 2022: West Hartford, CT 06107 Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Conard Chieftains (West Hartford, CT), 64-63 in a league bout.
With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The River Hawks travel to Waterford (Waterford, CT) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 15. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Waterford won 57-38 in their recent league bout against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT)
Next up, the Chieftains play the East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Conard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 56-50 league win over Fitch (Groton, CT).
