December 14, 2023: Pittsburg, CA 94565 Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Dougherty Valley will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
The Pirates now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. Pittsburg will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-1.
