In Friday's non-league match, the host Elkhorn North football squad scored a big 48-13 victory over the Lincoln Northwest Falcons.

In their next game, the clash with the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Elkhorn North will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 20-17 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, NE).

The Falcons (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Orangemen enter the non-league match with a 0-3 record.
