The IMG Academy Ascenders basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Long Island Lutheran Crusaders to 62 in the Ascenders league triumph on Friday.

The Ascenders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to AZ Compass Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10.

The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Tigers enter the Freelance contest with a 6-1 record.
