Connecticut High School Football - Plainfield drops to Quinebaug Valley Coop
September 9, 2022: Putnam, CT 06260 In Friday's non-league game, the Quinebaug Valley Coop Pride (Putnam, CT) football team knocked off the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), by a final score of 21-0.
The Pride (1-0) will now prepare for their game against O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Condors come into the Connecticut Tech game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, O'Brien RVT was dropped by Prince RVT (Hartford, CT), 8-2, in a league game.
The Panthers now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] for a non-league game on Friday, September 23.
