Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX), 75-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gladewater upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Rivercrest (Bogata, TX) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Rains will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 59-45 non-league win over Van (Van, TX).
