In Tuesday's league contest, the Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD), by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Key upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Middletown (Middletown, MD) to face the Knights in a MVAL - Piedmont outing on Wednesday, October 1. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Middletown lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD)

The Lions now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Hagerstown for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Liberty will face a Rebels squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Rebels record now stands at 2-3.
