Indiana High School Basketball - Marion holds off Manual
January 9, 2010: Marion, IN 46953 Marion Giants (Marion, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Manual Redskins (Indianapolis, IN), 74-70 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Marion upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Giants host Logansport (Logansport, IN) to play the Berries in a North Central bout on Friday, January 15. The Berries come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Logansport won 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Harrison (West Lafayette, IN)
Next up, the Redskins play the Brownsburg Bulldogs (Brownsburg, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 16. Manual will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
