In Thursday's non-league contest, the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) volleyball squad edged the host Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Wreckers battle the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 8. Staples will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Knights come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to South Windsor (South Windsor, CT).

With the loss, Amity Regional drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Westhill (Stamford, CT) to battle the Vikings in a non-league contest on Friday, April 5.
