South Dakota High School Basketball - Beresford fells Sioux Valley
December 20, 2018: Volga, SD 57071 Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD), 47-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Beresford upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Watchdogs travel to Parker (Parker, SD) to face the Pheasants in a A Region 5 game on Saturday, December 29. The Pheasants enter the game with a record of 3-2. Parker won 42-37 in their recent league game against Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD)
With the defeat, Sioux Valley moves to 1-4 on the year. The Cossacks travel to Webster (Webster, SD) to face the Bearcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 22. The Bearcats enter the game with a record of 0-4. Webster lost 55-33 in their recent league game against Milbank (Milbank, SD)
