New Mexico High School Basketball - Piedra Vista topped by Santa Fe Prep
January 5, 2024: Farmington, NM 87402 The Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Piedra Vista Panthers to 41 in the Blue Griffins non-league victory on Friday.
The Blue Griffins now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cathedral for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Santa Fe Prep will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 11-11.
The Panthers (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Miyamura was defeated by Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM), 62-59, in a non-league contest.
