South Carolina High School Basketball - Crest succumbs to Irmo

The Irmo Yellowjackets topped the visiting Crest Chargers basketball team by a final score of 70-50 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 27. Irmo will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 64-61 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).

With the defeat, Crest moves to 6-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to face the Greenwave in a Big South 3A game on Friday, January 3. The Greenwave enter the game with a record of 4-5. Ashbrook lost 66-52 in their recent non-league game against David W. Butler (Matthews, NC)
