East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), 96-54 in a league bout.

With the win, East Gaston upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Warriors host Burns (Lawndale, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Burns won 72-65 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC)
