December 1, 2022: Gilbert, IA 50105 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) and the visiting Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA), saw Gilbert's basketball squad overcome Roland-Story by a tally of 51-33.
With the victory, Gilbert improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Carroll (Carroll, IA) to play the Tigers in a Raccoon River challenge on Friday, December 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Carroll lost 43-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Kuemper (Carroll, IA)
Next up, the Norsemen play the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a Heart of Iowa challenge, on Friday, December 2. Roland-Story will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
