Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Albany Cougars (Albany, CA), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northgate upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Benicia (Benicia, CA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 18-4.

The Cougars now sport a 9-9 record. They play next when they host El Cerrito for a Tri-County - Stone contest on Wednesday, April 30. Albany will encounter a Gauchos squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 7-12.
