Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) and the visiting Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), saw Richmond's baseball squad edge Hoke County by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, May 4. Richmond will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Fighting Scots enter the battle with a 15-7 record after their 5-0 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
