In Friday's league game, the East Ridge Raptors (Woodbury, MN) football team knocked off the visiting Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), by a score of 45-24.

The Raptors (1-1) will now prepare for their game against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bears come into the Metro - East game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, White Bear Lake toppled Osseo (Osseo, MN), 24-14, in a non-league game.

The Ponies now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roseville for a Metro - East game on Friday, September 14. Stillwater will battle a Raiders team coming off a 27-7 league win over Woodbury (Woodbury, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
