Washington High School Basketball - Anacortes succumbs to Lakewood
January 21, 2020: Arlington, WA 98223 The Lakewood Cougars topped the visiting Anacortes Seahawks basketball squad by a tally of 60-41 in Tuesday's league challenge.
With the victory, Lakewood improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bellingham (Bellingham, WA) to confront the Red Raiders in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Thursday, January 23. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Bellingham lost 69-48 in their recent league challenge against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA)
Next up, the Seahawks confront the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Friday, January 24. Anacortes will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Lyncs come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 69-48 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA).
