Texas High School Basketball - Horn fells Frisco
December 19, 2011: Mesquite, TX 75181 Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 83-75 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Horn upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Ranchview (Irving, TX) to battle the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 11-3. Ranchview won 62-58 in their recent non-league battle against Triple A Academy (Dallas, TX)
The Raccoons (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans come into the 4A Region II District 9 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Newman Smith prevailed over Ryan (Denton, TX), 46-38, in a non-league battle.
