Nevada High School Football - Eureka knocks off Virginia City

The Eureka Vandals football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Virginia City Muckers to 20 in the Vandals league win on Saturday.

The Vandals now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Mammoth for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 26. Eureka will play a Huskies squad coming off a 60-0 league win over Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 6-3.

Coming up next, the Muckers play the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A West (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 27. Virginia City will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Lakers go into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 62-42 league win over Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV).
