Michigan High School Basketball - Brethren crushes Northern Michigan Christian
February 27, 2024: McBain, MI 49657 Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI), 56-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brethren upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Bobcats host Catholic Central (Manistee, MI) to play the Sabers in a West Michigan D bout on Thursday, February 29. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Catholic Central won 41-20 in their recent league bout against Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI)
Next up, the Comets play the St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. Northern Michigan Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 58-27 non-league win over Leland (Leland, MI).
