Indiana High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon tips Cathedral

The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) and the visiting Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN), observed Mt. Vernon's volleyball squad hold off Cathedral by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Marauders battle the Noblesville Millers (Noblesville, IN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 18. Mt. Vernon will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Millers come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over North Central (Indianapolis, IN).

With the loss, Cathedral drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Fighting irish host Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 18. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 5-0. Brownsburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN)
