Monmouth Regional Falcons (Tinton Falls, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), 39-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monmouth Regional upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Falcons host Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ) to play the Spartans in a Shore C - South bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Ocean Township won 57-54 in their recent non-league bout against Toms River East (Toms River, NJ)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Long Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 14-0 record after their 34-31 league win over Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ).
