West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors (Wheaton, MN), 67-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Central Area upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Knights host Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN) to clash with the Battlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 1. The Battlers go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Battle Lake lost 76-52 in their recent league bout against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 1. Wheaton/Herman-Norcross will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 77-49 non-league loss to New York Mills (New York Mills, MN).
